Conversations about American culture and news, use of idioms and vocabulary. Class begins September 14.

Tuesday 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Mr. Tobey 307 International Center, campus Conversation, pronunciation, idioms, vocabulary... and whatever the students ask for! No class on Oct. 8 and Nov. 17.
Wednesday 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Dr. Wolfe 307 International Center, campus

Conversations on food, music, cartoons, movies and other topics.

12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Reserved – conservation partners 307 International Center, campus

5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Ms. Carpenter 307 International Center, campus

4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Dr. Spencer 307 International Center, campus

Conversations about adapting to life in America. No class Sept. 10, Sept. 17, or Oct. 15.

Friday 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Mr. McCarthy 307 International Center, campus Discussion-based class covering current events, culture, and student questions. Although grammar will not be central, linguistic explanations will be provided when applicable. Begins Sept. 25
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Join us for conversations at the OISS Coffee Hour! McDonel Hall, Lower level Begins Sept. 4
Sunday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Ms. Bungard First Assembly of God of Greater Lansing, 2717 West Rd., E. Lansing, MI 48823. Begins Sept. 27. Conversational speaking and listening, American culture and holidays, some reading and writing.
